7th Grade Team Season Review: Record: 0-8 Although the team's record looks bad, there are two great things to highlight about the 7th grade team: 1) They play best at home. If you look at the game summaries above, we usually did better against teams when we played at home. (Canyon Creek's home game was one exception.) 2) They definitely improved over the course of the season. After playing a team once, they usually scored more points against teams when they played them for the second time. Hockinson's team is a perfect example. After Hockinson beat Henkle by fifteen points in the first game between the two teams this year, Henkle lost to Hockinson by only three points in front of their home crowd the second time around. Next year, if things come together, Henkle might have a good team on their hands. After all, our record can only improve right?

8th Grade Team Season Review: Record: 1-7 The one thing that jumps out at you about this team is the amount of three point shooters they have. Three point shooting was definitely this team's strength, but they also were very proficient rebounders as well. In their win over Canyon Creek, yet another strength was exposed: free throw shooting. This team made some very clutch free throws to bring in the victory over Canyon Creek.

Blended Team Season Review: Record: 2-8 This team, like the 7th graders, showed great improvement this season. They got to play two more games then the other teams, and they used that to their advantage. There were many games that played by this team that could have gone either way, including, but not limited too, the last game of the year against a team that they had previously had troubles with.

All I can say now is that I can't wait until next season begins!
