A lot of people already know about the earthquake in Haiti, but here are some interesting facts you probably didn't know:
-The United States Geological Survey has recorded over 33 aftershocks of the earthquake (Wikipedia).
-At the time this is being posted, there have been 111,481 confirmed deaths due to the earthquake in Haiti (Wikipedia).
-Haiti is the only country effected by the earthquake.
-As of today, the death toll of Haiti's earthquake is the eleventh largest ever for an earthquake. If the death toll reaches 200,000, as it is currently estimated, (But not proved) it will tied for seventh. (Wikipedia).

ReplyDeleteWonderful writing. I care much about those people in Haiti, many folks think I only care about myself, it is not true. I hear you are pretty good at the hoops too. Just remember to be a team player and listen to your coach, like I don't.
Well thats all for now, When the Lakers come down for a game, I'll try to swing by to see you play. And remember, if you want to dunk you got to do those ankle exercises and eat your vegetables. When I was growing up in Italy I did not eat just spaghetti I ate a lot of veggies too.
