Henkle vs. Canyon Creek

Henkle played a good set of games against Canyon Creek, two of the three teams winning their games, and the third team, although losing, improved their previous score against this team.

Starting with the blend team, who came away with their second win, against a team that they had previously lost too. One of the factors in their win was the fact that they came away with a lot of backcourt steals using the full court press.

Moving on to the 8th grade team, who on their fist game of the year. Last time they played Canyon Creek, they lost by 3 points, but they would not be denied this time as the came away with the two point victory.

Finally, the 7th grade team, who made obvious that they have improved as a team this year, even if they didn't win. In their last game against Canyon Creek, the 7th grade team lost by the wide margin of 6-32. This time, they raised their score to 20-36, which is an indicator of the improvements the 7th graders have shown. Although the seventh graders have yet to win a game, hopes are high that they will pick up their first within the next two games.
