If you haven't heard of Tracy Mcgrady, it's beause for the past couple of years, he seems to have always been injured. He wasn't always like that though. Tracy Mcgrady was once one of the most explosive scorers in the NBA. This false letter from him is my interpretation of he might want to say to NBA fans just about now, in the letter, when I say "I" or "me," I am refering to Tracy Mcgrady.
Hey! Remember me? Tracy Mcgrady, "T-Mac?" That's right, now you remember. Perhaps your more familiar with my cousin, Vince Carter? Remember when I was a scoring sensation? When I was dunking over 7 footers? I was once the young guy with unlimited potential, the guy who became a youtube sensation when he scored 13 points in the last 35 seconds to beat the Spurs in a playoff game? Yea, that's me, the guy who has just about every Orlando Magic single game scoring record. Too bad that I was so explosive that my body started to break down. It started in 2006, two years after I was traded from Orlando to the Houston Rockets. Numerous back spasms caused me to miss a couple games, but it was no big deal, I was still scoring a bunch. The 2007 came, and I was still having back spasms, and I could explode anymore. So I went to a doctor, and had "Synergy Release Therapy" to cure my back problems. After that, it seemed like I would be back on track, but geuss what? More injuries. Not my back this time, now my knee and shoulder. In 2009, I had to end my season in order to have microfracture surgery on my knee. Now I've been traded to the New York Knicks. Maybe my career will take off in New York. After this year, my contract expires and I will be a free agent. Alot of teams are going to concentrate in signing, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitski, Paul Pierce, and many more big name players. Is any team going to remember me? Is any team going to remember the two time NBA scoring title winner? If only my explosiveness wasn't too much for my body, I would still be a big name player too. Unfortunately, I haven't played an unhindered season since 2004, and now I am probably going to go down as one of the greatest "what if" case in NBA history.
