Tracy Mcgrady, the injury prone superstar is now playing for the New York Knicks. Personally, I am a big Tracy Mcgrady fan. (Click here to see the article I made about him) For Tracy, this means more playing time, which he has had trouble finding so far this year. See below for trade details. I will rate each player in the trade on a scale of 1-10, with a player like Lebron James or Kobe Bryant considered a 10. (In case you haven't heard of these players) Look for the rating after the player's name.

Analysis: The key here is that the Rockets have gotten rid of Tracy Mcgrady's massive contract, (The highest in the NBA on a year to year basis) and get the all star quality Kevin Martin and the defensive stopper Jared Jeffries.
New York Knicks Recieve: Tracy Mcgrady, (9, when not injured) from the Rockets and Sergio Rodrigeuz, (4) from the Kings.
Analysis: Tracy Mcgrady, once the NBA's brightest star must prove his value to the Knicks. If the Knicks are pleased with what they see in him, the will extend his contract, but his salary will only be a fraction of what it was before. If Tracy shows that the injury's have stolen too much from his skill, then the Knicks will easily release him when his contract expires at the end of the season and use the money to go after another superstar, such as Lebron James or Dwayne Wade.
Sacremento Kings Recieve: Larry Hughes (6.0) from the Knicks, Carl Landry (6.5) and Joey Dorsey (5) from the Rockets.
Analysis: Though it will be hard for the Kings fans to accept the departure of Kevin Martin, who has been the face of their struggling franchise for the past few years, they will eventually come to accept Larry, Joey, and in particular, Carl Landry, a tough competitor in the post that could is still on his path to becoming a star player. If the Kings fans liked Kevin Martin, they'll learn to like the hustle, toughness, and competiveness of Carl Landry.
